Overseas Chinese Advise SCODA on Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Recently, the United Front Department of the CPC Qingdao Committee held the "Trip of Oversea Chinese Community and Business Leaders to SCODA & Seminar on Innovation and Entrepreneurship". 15 oversea Chinese community and business leaders from 8 countries attended the meeting.
At the seminar, the leaders are briefed on the guidelines of the 8th plenary session of the 12th CPC Qingdao Committee, The Implementation Opinions on Driving High-quality Development with Higher-level Opening-up and Ten Opinions on Accelerating the Development of a Start-up City.
The seminar calls on overseas Chinese to keep political integrity and carry out the fine traditions. Overseas Chinese are encouraged to fully study and implement the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, carry on the tradition of patriotism and love for one's hometown and family, make contribution to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation and promote high-quality development of Qingdao driven by higher-level opening-up. The representative of overseas Chinese community leaders reads out the Initiative of Overseas Chinese to Promote High-quality Development of Qingdao. The initiative calls on all overseas Chinese to make concerted effort to help Qingdao attract investment and talent, promote the city in the world, build channels for cultural and people-to-people exchanges, so as to make new bigger contribution to Qingdao's bid to build an open, modern, dynamic and fashionable international metropolis.
The delegation also visited SCODA Exhibition Hall, Shaohai Confucius Six Arts Cultural Park in Jiaozhou, and Jiaozhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.
