SCODA Held Video Meeting with Sassnitz City of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern of Germany to Discuss Friendly Cooperation
On April 21st, the SCODA held a video meeting with Sassnitz City of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, and discussed cooperation in logistics, economy and trade, culture, science and technology, and other areas. Meng Qingsheng, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA, Frank Kraft, Mayor of Sassnitz, Ham Sievers, General Manager of Mukran Port Group participated in the video meeting.
Meng Qingsheng said that Sassnitz had advantages in tourism, logistics, and Mukran Port of Rügen was one of the international hubs of the new Silk Road, thus having high industrial and commercial values, which held high complementarity with the SCODA's philosophy in building the 4+1 centers. We hope that Sassnitz and more German enterprises could invest in Qingdao and the SCODA, build on each other's advantages, and further enhance local economic and trade cooperation.
