"Road Show of the Port City Colombo of Sri Lanka" Successfully Held to Leverage the Advantages of the SCODA's Platform to Promote the Local Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Sri Lanka w

On September 23, the "Road Show of the Port City Colombo of Sri Lanka" was successfully held at the Grand Barony Hotel Qingdao Airport. Themed on "Giving Full Play to the Advantages of the SCO Demonstration Area and Promoting the Development of China-Sri Lanka Sub-national Economic Cooperation", the event is one of the series activities of 2021 "Sister Cities Cooperation for a Shared Future". This event aims to accelerate the development of the SCODA, and facilitate the economic, trade and industrial exchanges and cooperation between China and Sri Lanka, thus creating a vigorous platform and maintaining a healthy channel for communication and negotiation.

Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of the CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA, and Li Xing, Director for Chinese market of Port City Colombo of China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. attended the event. Palitha Kohona, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to China, and Biman Liyanage, Vice Chairman of China-Sri Lanka Chamber of Economic and Trade Cooperation and others attended the event online.
