SCODA Leadership Visits United Company RUSAL

On March 11, Meng Qingsheng, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee, SCODA, led a delegation to United Company RUSAL, having in-depth exchanges of view with Mr. Sergey Goncharov, Chief Representative at the Beijing Representative Office, United Company RUSAL.

According to Meng Qingsheng, the SCODA will leverage its advantages as an international cooperation platform, help relevant companies in the SCODA to reach out to RUSAL for discussion on cooperation opportunities and on the mode of multidimensional cooperation, and play a positive role in bringing in projects with the elements of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), so as to strengthen the cooperation between China and Russia in industrial interconnection, resource complementation, etc.

As Mr. Goncharov mentioned, the SCODA, as an important platform for economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between China and other SCO countries, is playing a critical role in promoting economic and trade cooperation among these nations. RUSAL is taking advantage of its industrial strength to promote all-round cooperation in various fields with the SCODA and companies located within it for a win-win outcome.
