Bishkek-Qingdao Online Dialogue on Friendly Cooperation Held

On the afternoon of December 22, 2021 Thematic Events of "Sister City Cooperation for a Shared Future"--Bishkek-Qingdao Online Dialogue on Friendly Cooperation was held at Fuxin Hotel. Zhao Haozhi, Vice Secretary of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee, Mayor of Qingdao attended and delivered a speech. Bishkek of Kyrgyzstan and Qingdao signed an agreement on establishing a sister city relationship.

Zhao Haozhi said in his speech that he hoped the two sides could encourage the key industrial parks to promote economic and trade cooperation, deepen people-to-people and cultural exchanges and expand pragmatic cooperation. We support SCODA and Bishkek Free Economic Area to step up cooperation. We welcome the companies from Bishkek to showcase their products, promote projects at SCODA and carry out trade cooperation with SCODA, and utilize the advantages of multimodal transport of Qingdao Port to develop transit trade and cross-border e-commerce with Japan, South Korea and ASEAN. Meanwhile, the two sides should continue to carry out diverse cultural exchanges, increase mutual cultural and tourism promotion and personnel exchange, consolidate public support for the friendship between the two cities and promote more fruitful results in friendly cooperation.

During the event, Meng Qingsheng, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA signed a Memorandum on Establishing Economic and Trade Partnership with Bishkek Free Economic Area on behalf of SCODA.
