Founding of Qingdao SCO Coordinated Development Enterprises Alliance & Unveiling Ceremony of Uzbekistan Exchange Held, Uzbekistan National Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange Located in Qingdao

On the afternoon of December 29, the Founding of Qingdao SCO Coordinated Development Enterprises Alliance & Unveiling Ceremony of Uzbekistan Exchange was held at Qingdao Municipal Conference Center.

This event was jointly organized by Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Commerce and SCODA, with over 400 enterprises from Qingdao and Uzbekistan participating both online and offline.

Liu Xuesong, Deputy Director General of the Eurasian Affairs Department of the Ministry of Commerce pointed out that the establishment of Qingdao SCO Coordinated Development Enterprises Alliance and Uzbekistan National Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange landing in Qingdao would provide a good opportunity and also a platform for Qingdao enterprises to further enhance understanding with SCO countries. He hoped Qingdao and SCODA would continue to work as a window, and make new contributions to the pragmatic local economic and trade cooperation between China and SCO  states.

Aziz, Masutov, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai said that the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai would fully support Uzbekistan National Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange to be located in Qingdao, and would also create favorable conditions enhancing bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Xue Qingguo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, Vice Mayor of Qingdao said that, with the increasing popularity and attraction, SCODAhas deepened local economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Qingdao and the SCO countries and countries along the Belt and Road. The founding of Qingdao SCO Coordinated Development Enterprises Alliance and the landing of Uzbekistan Exchange will open a new page and add new impetus to the cooperation between SCODA, even Qingdao and the SCO countries.
