Unveiling Ceremony of RCEP Customs Supervision Service Innovation Pilot Base (SCODA) Held

On the afternoon of January 19, SCODA-Qingdao Customs: Coordination for Promotion of Trade Facilitation Policies & Unveiling Ceremony of RCEP Customs Supervision Service Innovation Pilot Base (SCODA) was held. Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, and Shi Yong, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director General of Qingdao Customs unveiled the base together. Thirty relevant enterprises of SCODA participated in the unveiling ceremony. The base will help enterprises make good use of the cumulative rules of origin, adjust the industrial and supply chains dynamically, implement RCEP preferential policies, and improve trade facilitation between SCODA and SCO countries.

During the unveiling ceremony, Qingdao Customs granted three AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) enterprises the qualification of the first batch of approved exporters of SCODA and issued certifications, including Qingdao Pafic Electromechanical Technology Development Co., Ltd., Qingdao CIMC Refrigerator Manufacturing Co. Ltd., and Tailift Forklift (Qingdao) Co., Ltd.
