Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park Project
Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park is invested by Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group Co., Ltd., which is a new-energy subsidiary of Shanghai Electric Group. The project, located at No. 1, Liuyanghe Street in the SCODA, Qingdao, has a total investment of 5 billion yuan and covers a land area of about 468 mu (31.2 hectares). Its total floor area is 360,000 m2 and the floor area for calculation of plot ratio is 468,000 m2. The plot ratio is 1.5. The industry falls in the new energy and new material industry listed in the Statistical Classification of the Ten Strong Industries for Growth Drivers Transformation of Shandong issued by Shandong Provincial Statistics Bureau. Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park is envisioned as a supplier of international high-end wind power equipment systems. It is a demonstrative project of high-end intelligent manufacturing that integrates design, R&D, manufacturing and after-sales service. It also introduces core supporting companies on the supply chain to build the largest whole-industry-chain demonstration base of high-end wind power equipment in Asia. The park will provide the most advanced intelligent wind power equipment for SCO countries and Belt and Road countries. The project strictly follows the manufacturing standards and processes of the Industry 4.0 of Germany and plans to build production lines for 4.0 MW and 6.0 MW whole machines. Upon completion, its annual production capacity will reach over 400 and yearly output will exceed 10 billion yuan with profits and taxes over 700 million yuan.
The establishment of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park was approved on November 14, 2019. The first phase and the second phase broke ground in April and October 2020 respectively. The main structures of phase 1, including united workshop 1#, scrap warehouse 2# and chemical warehouse 3#, have been basically completed. The 12th, 6th and 7th floors of office buildings 17-19# and the R&D center have been completed. For phase 2, workshops 4#, 5#, 6#, 11#,12#, dorms 20-22#, and canteen 23# are under construction. With the support and assistance of the SCODA Administrative Committee, the construction is well underway and is expected to be fully completed and put into operation by the end of 2022. It will create over 1,000 job opportunities for local residents.
