China—Portuguese-speaking Countries Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Dialogue Successfully Held

On April 27th, China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area and the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao (Macao) jointly organized an exchange meeting on economic and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

During the meeting, the representatives from Portuguese-speaking countries to Forum Macao introduced their countries' development plans, key projects, achievements and demonstrative examples for investment cooperation. Langyatai Group, Qing'aohechuang (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., China Communications Construction Company Ltd. respectively introduced their planned cooperation projects with Portuguese-speaking countries, and the experience of Chinese companies investing overseas. The representatives of Portuguese-speaking countries and companies from China Mainland exchanged ideas enthusiastically on economic and trade cooperation, import and export, overseas investment, etc.

In future, the SCODA will further cultivate SCO characteristics, promote the economic and trade exchanges with Portuguese-speaking countries, and explore new horizons for Belt and Road international cooperation.
