Liu Jianjun Visited Urumchi, Khorgos and Xi'an

From May 25 to 27, Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of the CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee, Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA led a group of department heads to travel 10,000 km day and night to visit Urumchi, Khorgos and Xi'an. The purposes were to promote the coordination of various freight train distribution centers, which will deepen the integrated development of the Yellow River Basin; open up the international logistics channel connecting the east and west, the land and the sea, and explore effective ways for the high-quality development of the modern logistics in the SCODA.

During the visits, the SCODA signed strategic cooperation agreements with Urumchi International Land Port Area, Khorgos Economic Development Zone, and Xi'an International Trade & Logistics Park respectively. According to the agreements, the signing parties will continue to deepen the interactions of freight train distribution centers, strengthen cooperation in economic and trade exchange, transport facilitation and exploring overseas layout, and jointly create mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation.
