On the morning of April 2, SCODA held video and telephone conferences with the Department of Eurasian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce and the Department of European-Central Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs respectively to promote the construction of the key project at the core area of SCODA. Liu Xuesong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Eurasian Affairs of Ministry of Commerce, Yu Jun, Deputy Director General of the Department of European-Central Asian Affairs of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zhang Dong and Xiang Zhiqiang, Deputy Directors of the Administrative Committee of SCODA participated.

Zhang Dong hoped that the project could highlight the core area of SCODA's functions for a platform and exhibition, become a platform for the exchanges and cooperation among SCO countries in various areas, fully integrate SCO elements, showcase the characteristics of SCO local economic and trade cooperation, and create a commercial complex encompassing multiple business models of the exhibition, conference, event and commerce.

Liu Xuesong said that building this key project at the core area of SCODA was a vivid practice of Qingdao actively serving and participating in the national strategy, and held great significance for the high-quality development of SCODA.
