Zhang Xinzhu Met with Du Zhanyuan, Director-General of China International Publishing Group

On July 29, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of the CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Qingdao Jiaodong Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, met with Du Zhanyuan, Director-General of China International Publishing Group. Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, attended the meeting.

Zhang Xinzhu said that in the early stage, SCODA and CIPG have established a good cooperation, and a series of activities such as the Award Ceremony of the Fifth SCO Chinese Calligraphy Competition and the Exhibition of Winning Works have been successfully held, adding vitality to the development of cultural and people-to-people exchanges in SCODA. SCODA will take the SCO Media & Think Tank Forum as an opportunity to continue to strengthen cooperation with the China International Publishing Group (CIPG) in organizing activities under the SCO framework and building an SCO National Media Center, speed up the establishment of a commercial, tourism and cultural exchange center, and build a new platform for international cooperation along the Belt and Road.

Du said that CIPG and the SCODA enjoy a sound foundation for cooperation. In the future, CIPG will continue to play a positive role, focus on the theme of "SCO", use its prominent advantages in the areas of international communication and relations, facilitate SCODA to carry out bilateral and multilateral pragmatic exchanges and cooperation within the SCO framework, and take SCODA as a development platform to promote the people-to-people and cultural exchanges among SCO countries.
