Qingdao China-SCO Countries Cooperation Hub: Full of Belt and Road Friends,

In the era of economic globalization, opening up and interconnectivity are unstoppable historical trends. A series of national strategies put Qingdao at the forefront of the higher-level opening up of China. Building the "international cooperation hubs" is an important measure of Qingdao to implement the important instructions and requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping for further expanding higher-level opening up, and building a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.

In the past year or so, Qingdao has fully leveraged the comprehensive advantages of openness to build platforms for international cooperation and established cooperation hubs between Qingdao and the Republic of Korea, Japan, Germany, Israel and SCO countries. The cooperation hubs gathered many precious friends, attracted high-level, sophisticated and advanced projects to locate, and stimulated global resources to flow freely.

Now, the cooperation hubs in Qingdao have a clearer path for upgrading: We will strive to build a gateway for Shandong to open up to the world, and an important national strategic pivot for the opening up in areas north of the Yangtze River, as well as a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation. We will fully leverage the synergy of the platforms, gather high-quality global resources, create a "Super Market" for enterprises and institutions from home and abroad to carry out two-way exchanges and cooperation, thus forging a platform for global enterprises to congregate, interact and integrate.
