The project, with a total investment of about 1.2 billion yuan, covers a land area of 297 mu and a gross floor area of about 300,000 m2,. It is located to the east of Wuliu Avenue, west of Jiaoda Avenue, south of Luohe Road, and north of Taohe Road. It was invested and constructed by Sinotrans Central China Co., Ltd. Sinotrans Central China Co., Ltd., a professional integrated logistics platform of China Merchants Group, is a subsidiary of Sinotrans.
Upon completion, Sinotrans (SCO) Smart Logistics Park will mainly engage in bulk commodity trading, futures delivery, integrated logistics, Internet + containers, cold chain, and cross-border e-commerce. This project can greatly elevate the key position of regional logistics in Jiaozhou, promote the development of bulk commodity trading, storage, and distribution, and drive the regional development of regional logistics, economy and trade, e-commerce, and Internet industries. It can realize the trade volume of bulk commodities of $1.0 billion per year; trade and turnover of 30 million tons per year; Internet + container smart logistics of over 100,000 TEUs/year. Through the market cultivation and development of cross-border e-commerce, cold chain logistics, and Internet-related industries, the annual tax of the project is expected to exceed 100 million yuan.
Currently, the construction of the outdoor road dynamic compaction and the pile foundation of warehouse No. 1-8 have been completed, and the excavation of the foundation pit and the construction of pile caps are underway. Warehouse 6-8# will be completed and put into use at the end of May 2021.
