Alfa Laval

The project, with a total investment of one billion yuan, covers a land area of 193 mu and a gross floor area of 110,000 m². It is located in the southwest of the intersection between Chuangxin Avenue and Ganjiang Road in the SCODA. It was put into production in January 2020, invested by Alfa Laval of Sweden, one of the Fortune Global 500 companies. It includes the Asian headquarters, R&D center, heat exchanger production line, and product exhibition center. It is the world’s largest marine boiler production base , with a global market share of 60% (second is KangRim of South Korea, accounting for 20%; third is SAACKE of Germany, accounting for 9%). As a hidden champion in the field of marine engineering equipment, Alfa Laval’s products are widely used in energy and environment, food and pharmaceuticals, marine and diesel power industries. They mainly provide a full set of solutions for marine boilers, land boilers, heat exchangers, inert gas burners, etc., promoting Qingdao’s marine equipment manufacturing industry to transform old drivers of growth into new ones.

In 2019, the project achieved an output value of 1.11 billion yuan and a profit and tax of 260 million yuan.
