Liu Jianjun Probes into Preparation of Expo and Planning and Construction of Ruyi Lake

On April 7th, Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of SCODA Party Working Committee, and Director of SCODA Administrative Committee, visited Fangyuan Sport Center and the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA) for an investigation into the preparation and readiness of the SCO International Investment and Trade Expo and the planning and construction for Ruyi Lake.

The group led by Liu Jianjun walked along Ruyi Lake, carefully checked the landscape enhancement, greening and beautification, supporting facilities, waterfront scenery, and other related issues. According to Liu, it is necessary to perform scientific planning and meticulous design, driving the landscape enhancement works efficiently and to a high standard; to embody characteristics of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and build a plant landscape system with rich layers of landscape and complete ecological functions; to improve the level of management by setting up sufficient waterfront safety precaution and protection measures; to speed up and complete construction of supporting facilities, and continuously improve functional facilities and support services; and to center on planning and quality, enhancing cultural connotation and taste of the park constantly.
