Traditional Nepalese Handcraft Exhibition Opened in the SCODA
On April 20th, the opening ceremony of the Traditional Nepalese Culture and Handcraft Exhibition opened in Qingdao China-SCO Countries Cooperation Hub. Cai Quanji, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, Deputy Director of Qingdao Bureau of Culture and Tourism delivered opening remarks. Hao Guoxin, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA presided over the event.
China and Nepal are friendly neighbors whose mountains and rivers are adjacent. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal, and also the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. In order to better promote the close cooperation between the SCODA and Nepal in people-to-people and cultural exchanges among other areas, the Traditional Nepalese Culture and Handcraft Exhibition is held in the SCODA from April 20th to May 31st, and continued efforts will be made to promote the cultural and tourism cooperation between Qingdao and Nepal.
