Qingdao CPPCC Inspection Group Visited the SCODA

On May 7th, entrusted by Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, CPPCC Qingdao Committee organized members of the national, provincial and municipal committees, experts and scholars to join an inspection tour themed on building a new platform for Belt and Road International Cooperation. Yang Jun, Member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Secretary of the Party Group, and Chairman of CPPCC Qingdao Committee led the delegation, and Liu Gengqun, Member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference participated.

Yang Jun and the delegation visited the cloud port affairs platform of the customer service center of Qingdao Port, sea-rail multimodal center of Qingdao Port, First Inspection Division of Huangdao Customs, and the multimodal transport center of the SCODA. Then the group held a meeting at SCO Service Center. The Bureau of Transport, the Administrative Committee of the SCODA introduced the progress of multimodal transport. Members of CPPCC, experts and scholars made suggestions and advices regarding the planning and building of multimodal transport infrastructure, policy support, standards and rules, and the measures to lower the cost and improve efficiency of logistics.
