SCO International Conference Center Successfully Signed
On June 10, during the "2021 Central SOEs' Visit to Qingdao—SCO International Cooperation Hub for Central SOEs Welcomes You" event, a piece of heartening news about the construction of the SCODA's core area was delivered, namely, the agreement for SCO International Conference Center was successfully signed.
This project is jointly established by Qingdao SCO Development Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Group Limited. The planned total investment is 2.73 billion RMB. The infrastructures will include large-scale conferences, exhibition facilities and star hotels, providing services to high-level meetings, exchanges, exhibitions, receptions, banquets, etc. The aims are to build a platform for economic and trade cooperation and exchange facing SCO and Belt and Road countries, and create a new bridge for international exchange and cooperation, so as to facilitate Qingdao's efforts in building a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.
