SCODA Leaders Took Field Trip to Xi'an and Chengdu

From July 7 to 9, Meng Qingsheng, Member of the Party Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA led a team to visit Xi'an and Chengdu to learn the experience in urban planning and construction, such as public architecture and underground space development.

Meng Qingsheng pointed out that the SCODA has been promoting the construction of cultural facilities, and a batch of benchmark architecture with distinct SCO characteristics have been in the process of planning and constructing. And the related departments should learn from and borrow the advanced experience in planning and constructing Shaanxi Grand Theater and Concert Hall, to improve the taste and enrich the image of the city and make a greater contribution to the development of the SCODA. And we would like to enhance communication with Xi'an High and New Development Zone, Xixian New Area and Fengdong New City, to explore more cooperation opportunities in the economic and trade cooperation, people-to-people and cultural exchange with SCO countries and "Belt and Road" countries. The related departments should learn from Chengdu the precious experience in science and technology, ecology, smart city, and strive to build a demonstration area representing international model, culturally inclusive, three-dimensional and intensive, ecological and livable, with intelligent technology.
