First Run of the Point-to-Point Freight Train between SCO Demonstration Area of China and Tbilisi of Georgia

On July 27, the point-to-point train of the Eurasian (Qilu) Freight Train between SCO Demonstration Area and Tbilisi of Georgia departed from the multimodal transport center of the SCODA, headed for Tbilisi of Georgia. This symbolized the successful first run of the Eurasian (Qilu) Freight Train between SCO Demonstration Area and Tbilisi of Georgia.
This train carried 100 TEUs, containing 1.5 million dollars’ worth of cargoes, including plywood, wooden doors, machinery equipment, etc. It will pass Khorgos port to cross the Caspian Sea, and arrive at the destination Tbilisi of Georgia in approximately 17 days.
