Secretary of the CPC Qingdao Committee Lu Zhiyuan Visited Jiaozhou to Inspect the Building of the SCODA upon Taking Office

On September 6, Lu Zhiyuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Committee, Secretary of the CPC Qingdao Committee visited Jiaozhou to inspect the building of the SCODA, progress of projects and enterprises development of Jiaozhou, going directly to the site at grass-root level without giving notice or notification beforehand, nor requiring report or company.

He emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping entrusted Qingdao with the major national task of building the SCODA and a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation. We must keep in mind the important task at all times, shoulder the mission courageously, keep a foothold at the new development stage, implement new development philosophy, serve the building of a new development paradigm, and focus on the top priority of development, so as to strive to create a magnificent and vigorous scenario of implementing the new development philosophy and driving high-quality development. Jiaozhou should undertake the political responsibilities, and take initiative to strengthen the foundation, leverage advantages, make up for the shortcomings, focus on the projects, benefit people's wellbeing and ensure stability. In this way, Jiaozhou could push all works to the leading position and become a crucial pillar for the high-quality development of Qingdao.
