Second Plenary Meeting of SCODA Development Expert Advisory Board Convened
On September 23, the Second Plenary Meeting of the SCODA Development Expert Advisory Board was convened at the Grand Barony Hotel Qingdao Airport. Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of the CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA, and Zhang Xingcheng, Deputy Director General of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province attended the meeting and made remarks. The meeting was attended by Zhao Ai, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Society of Economic Reform, Chairman of the SCODA Development Expert Advisory Board, Hu Zheng, Former CEO of China-Belarus Industrial Park, Director of China Development Institute, Chief Expert and distinguished research fellow of Belt and Road Innovation Development Research, Executive Vice Chairman of the SCODA Development Expert Advisory Board and other members of the board, as well as the "Investment Promotion Ambassadors" of the SCODA. The attendees provided constructive advice on the development of the SCODA.
The members of the Expert Advisory Board made remarks on the future direction, path, positioning and methods of the SCODA, the direction and priorities of favorable policies and institutional innovation, as well as precise cooperation with SCO member states.
At the symposium on the development of the SCODA convened in the afternoon, Xiang Zhiqiang, Member of the Party Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA introduced the stipulation of the three-year action plan of the SCODA. Representative of the Economic Development Department of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA reported the institutional innovation of the SCODA. The members of the Expert Advisory Board delivered speeches themed "The Macroscopic Situation of SCO Countries and the Development of the SCODA" and "Research and Suggestions for Institutional Innovation of the SCODA". The Investment Promotion Ambassadors provided advice on the project attraction of the SCODA.
