"Two Parks Interaction"-- SCODA Held Video Conference on Economic and Trade Cooperation with China-Kazakhstan Khorgos International Border Cooperation Center

To promote the "Two Parks Interaction", on the afternoon of August 20, the Administrative Committee of the SCODA held a Video Conference on Economic and Trade Cooperation with China-Kazakhstan Khorgos International Border Cooperation Center Co., Ltd., and discussed the cooperation between the SCODA and China-Kazakhstan Khorgos International Border Cooperation Center.

During the conference, the head of the two-way investment department and international logistics department of the SCODA introduced the objectives and positioning, geographical advantages and the progress of building the "four centers" at the SCODA. They also expressed the wish to seize the opportunities of regular operation of China-Europe and Central Asia freight trains, and deepen all-round cooperation in multiple areas including infrastructure, trade and investment facilitation. The head of Khorgos International Border Cooperation Center Co., Ltd. gave a detailed introduction on China-Kazakhstan Khorgos International Border Cooperation Center from the perspectives of history, geographical location, non-visa system, tax incentives for operational activities, free trade, two-way tourism and infrastructure.
