Officials of the SCODA Met with Official Belt and Road Representatives of Belarus

On August 25, Meng Qingsheng, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA met with Chivier Maria, the Official Belt and Road Representative of Belarus, Representative of BTS Logistics in China at the SCO Service Center, and discussed logistics, economic and trade cooperation.

Meng Qingsheng said that the SCODA would actively expand the international trains between China and Belarus, push for the landing of the China-Belarus Center. He also hoped to establish a long-term stable partnership with Belarus, jointly support the companies to expand the market, and carry out broader mutually beneficial cooperation.

 

Chivier Maria would like to work with the SCODA and promote the landing of the China-Belarus Center, a comprehensive center focusing on logistics, economic and trade, commercial, tourism and cultural cooperation. She would also like to leverage the SCO advantages, open up the channels for international multimodal transport, upgrade industrial cooperation, and build more demonstration projects of China-Belarus interaction. The goal is to lay a solid foundation for bilateral economic and trade, cultural and people-to-people exchange, so as to bring the cooperation to a higher level, yielding new achievements.
