First SCODA- Vientiane CR Express Freight Train Successfully Run
On December 9, the first SCODA-Vientiane CR Express Freight Train, carrying 50 TEUs of hardware tools, ceramic tiles, tires, steel, building materials and other goods departed from Qingdao Multimodal Transport Center at SCODA.
The successful opening of this route is an important measure for SCODA to further explore the market of Southeast Asia and seize opportunities of policies under the RCEP agreement. It is also an active response to the ASEAN-China Special Summit to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations by promoting China ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership, and holds great significance to promoting the multilateral economic and trade cooperation between SCODA and ASEAN. SCODA will seize the opportunity of the opening of China-Laos Railway to create an international logistics hub connecting Japan and South Korea in the east and facing Asia-Pacific, connecting Mongolia and Russia in the north, connecting ASEAN in the south, and connecting SCO countries and Belt and Road countries in the west.
