Government-Bank-Corporate Cooperation Raised to A New Height with SCODA Signing Strategic Cooperation Agreements with Three Policy Financial Institutions

On December 28, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation between the Administrative Committee of China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area and Qingdao Branch of China Development Bank, Shandong Branch of Export-Import Bank of China and Shandong Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation was held at Jiaozhou Hotel. SCODA established comprehensive strategic cooperation with the three policy financial institutions. They will carry out cooperation in infrastructure project financing, multilateral financial institution cooperation within the SCO framework, and collaborated development with overseas industrial parks, thus promoting the coordinated development of SCODA in infrastructure construction, two-way investment and international trade.

During the event, the three policy financial institutions all released statistics supporting the construction of SCODA and Jiaozhou. From October 2020 to December this year, the Qingdao Branch of China Development Bank released 1.15 billion yuan of loan to support the projects of SCODA and Jiaozhou. Shandong Branch of Export-Import Bank of China released 4.3 billion yuan of loan to support the enterprises (project) of SCODA. And Shandong Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation supported 530 foreign trade enterprises of SCODA and Jiaozhou, supporting 3.79 billion yuan of general trade export, up by 13% year-on-year.
