Construction of Ruyi Lake Commercial Complex Began, Adding a New Landmark for SCODA

On February 8, the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Ruyi Lake Commercial Complex of SCODA was held at the construction site.

Ruyi Lake Commercial Complex is a key project of SCODA in 2022. The project is undertaken by China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Co., Ltd., with a floor area of 150,000 m². It will highlight the functions of the core area of SCODA for undertaking and displaying. All-round and well-equipped venues and demonstration areas for exchanges and cooperation with SCO countries have been planned and are under construction. It will fully integrate "SCO elements", showcase the characteristics of SCO local economic and trade cooperation, thus creating a commercial complex combining multiple business types including exhibition, conference, activity and commerce. In the future, it will focus on enlarging the effect of hosting conferences, further improving the urban functions, services and quality of SCODA, play a leading role in attracting more SCO resources and key projects to SCODA. It aims at becoming a functional platform with international insights, further raising the influence and competitiveness of SCODA, and facilitating SCODA to forge a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.
