First Two-Way China-Europe Freight Train (Qilu) Runs from Qingdao of China to Mannheim of Germany
On February 18, the Ceremony for the First Two-Way China-Europe Freight Train (Qilu) Runs from Qingdao of China to Mannheim of Germany was held at Qingdao.
It is reported that this outbound train had a total of 100 TEUs, carrying cargo including chemical materials, automobile parts, and everyday supplies with a value of about 2.5 million USD. It departs from SCODA Qingdao Multimodal Transport Center located in Jiaozhou (CRIntermodal Qingdao Central Station), exits the border through the port of Alashankou, and arrives at the sister city of Qingdao, Mannheim of Germany, in about 19 days. And the return train will be fully loaded with high-end wood board and other cargos, departing from Mannheim of Germany, entering the border via Erenhot, and arriving at Qingdao in 22 days approximately.
