Li Gang Led Team to Visit Nanning

From January 11 to 12, Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, led a team to visit Nanning.

The group visited the ASEAN Culture Expo Park, Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center, China-ASEAN Business Center, Wuxiang New Area Headquarter Base and China-ASEAN Financial City among other places.

Li Gang said that SCODA would learn from the practices of Nanning, adopt marketization methods to expedite introducing and building projects with SCO elements and create the business, tourism and culture exchange and development center. SCODA will learn from the experience of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Nanning Municipal People's Government in coordinating the overall resources to promote the economic and trade cooperation with ASEAN countries, further raise the political stance, strengthen reporting to the supervising departments and coordinating with the partners, striving to do good and pragmatic job, and create positive image and reputation for the major national task of building SCODA.

The two sides agreed to enhance communication and exchange, and strategic contacts in the future, speed up in-depth cooperation in building the international logistics channels, and the facilitation of international trade and investment.
