In order to further expand the "circle of friends" in SCO countries and strengthen the connectivity of the "Air Silk Road", the Parallel Forum on Civil Aviation Cooperation was held on June 16 during the SCO Industrial and Supply Chains Forum, with the theme of "Pooling SCO Strength to Shape Civil Aviation Model". The forum was co-hosted by the China Civil Airports Association and the Administrative Committee of SCODA, and organized by the Administrative Committee of Qingdao Jiaodong Airport Economic Demonstration Zone and Qingdao International Airport Group Co., Ltd.

Representatives of consulates of Mongolia, Türkiye, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other countries in China, civil aviation administration departments, airlines, and airport companies, representatives from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and administrative departments, airlines, airport groups, airport companies, airport planning and construction, air logistics enterprises, travel agencies, technical equipment, and other institutions, carried out in-depth discussions and built broad consensus on building a new platform for civil aviation exchanges and cooperation among SCO countries, focusing on air tourism, air logistics, airport planning and construction, innovative technology, aerospace manufacturing, and other professional fields.

Mongolia Tongge Aviation Co., Ltd. and Pan Eurasian (Qingdao) Aviation Technology Development Co., Ltd. signed the China-Mongolia UAV Transport Network Project Agreement, and the Supreme Procuratorate of the Republic of Tajikistan, Qingdao Cloud Century Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Century Xiangyun Aviation Co., Ltd. signed the strategic cooperation agreement.

In the afternoon, at the Air Tourism and Air Logistics Market Cooperation and Development Forum, Airport Construction and Development Achievements and Innovative Technology and Equipment Exchange Forum, participants made keynote speeches on the themes of "Construction and Development of Samarkand Airport in Uzbekistan," "Civil Aviation Contributes to SCO Development," "Construction and Development of the Smart Airport at Beijing Daxing Airport." Representatives of Qingdao Airport Group also shared the research results of air travel, air logistics resources, and SCO route planning. The participants discussed the important role of the civil aviation industry in deepening cooperation among relevant SCO countries and promoting economic and trade exchanges through the collision of ideas and sharing of views.

The Administrative Committee of SCODA gives full play to the advantages of the coordination of four ports of "sea, land, air and rail", accelerates the construction of SCO International Hub Port, and gradually builds an international logistics channel covering the province, radiating along the Yellow River, traversing Europe and Asia, and connecting Japan, the Republic of Korea and ASEAN. The successful holding of the Parallel Forum on Civil Aviation Cooperation will further enhance the economic, trade, and people-to-people exchanges among all parties, and will also accelerate the construction of SCO International Hub Port, promote in-depth cooperation in air passenger and cargo transport, cultural and tourism exchanges, and cross-border trade, and jointly release new momentum of the "Air Silk Road".
