SCODA: 36 Projects Seizing the Golden Construction Timing

Currently, there are 36 projects under construction at SCODA, with a total investment of 46.491 billion yuan. Among them, 16 projects with a total investment of 17.465 billion yuan will be completed and put into operation within this year, including Pulin New Material and Beite Heavy Industry. The projects under construction are gaining momentum, supporting the high-quality development of SCODA and helping to build a modern international new city with strong SCO customs.

Early spring is full of life. Walking into Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park, you’ll see tall factories are rising from the ground, workers wearing masks and safety helmets are laying pipes, installing green modelings, doors and windows, etc. The site is busy and orderly.

"At present, the first phase of the workshop and the main body of the office building have been completed, and the interior decoration is being carried out. The second phase and the third phase of the workshop and the main body of the dormitory are being completed, with the doors and windows and interior decoration being installed. They are expected to be put into production in June this year, and all the three phases will be completed and put into use within this year, half a year ahead of the original schedule." Sun Fei, Director of the General Office of Shandong Branch of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group, introduced that 10 megawatt photovoltaic power generation equipment is also being installed synchronously, forming an intelligent energy supply network of photovoltaic power generation with intelligent control in one, and creating a demonstration project of networked new energy intelligent micro-grid.

In addition to the busy construction of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Industrial Park, speed and passion are always on display at the construction sites of various projects in the core area of SCODA. Many key projects are striving to meet the construction deadline and making strenuous efforts to complete the annual targets.

Since 2020, SCODA has brought in 50 projects with a total investment of 171.5 billion yuan, such as Geely Satellite Internet, with 20 new projects featuring SCO elements such as China-Russia Center, SCO (Qingdao) Green Spices Trading Market, etc. Currently, of the 36 projects under construction, 16 will be completed and put into production this year.
