First China-Central Asia Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum Opened
On February 16, the First China-Central Asia Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum was opened at the Qingdao International Conference Center. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the forum.
Xi Jinping pointed out that, since the establishment of diplomatic ties more than 30 years ago, China and the Central Asian countries have established strategic partnerships, embarked on a new path of good neighborliness, friendship and win-win cooperation, and set an example of a new type of international relations. Deepening industrial and investment cooperation between China and the Central Asian countries will effectively maintain the stability of regional industrial and supply chains, raise the level of industrial development and global economic participation of the region and countries, and promote common development and prosperity. China is ready to share with Central Asian countries a super-sized market, a complete industrial system, and advanced technologies, deepen practical cooperation, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, jointly promote high-quality regional economic development, and build an even closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.
He Lifeng, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director General of the National Development and Reform Commission, attended the event via video, read the congratulatory letter of President Xi Jinping, and delivered a speech. He pointed out that the congratulatory letter of President Xi Jinping showed that he attached great importance to this forum, so we must firmly implement the requirements of the letter, and the consensus reached by President Xi Jinping with heads of state on deepening cooperation and promoting development, fully leverage the role of the China-Central Asia Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum, and work for more fruitful industrial and investment cooperation between China and Central Asian countries.
Skriyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Kasemaliev, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Ziyozoda, Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Gertimeladov, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, Khozhayev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan delivered video speeches, and Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Governor of Shandong, and Lin Nianxiu, Deputy Director General of the National Development and Reform Commission delivered keynote speeches.
