Zhang Xinzhu Met with Yang Zhengwei, the Director of the Policy Research Office of the Ministry of Commerce, and His Delegation

On October 11, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee and secretary of the CPC Working Committee of SCODA, met with Yang Zhengwei, Director of the Policy Research Office of the Ministry of Commerce, and his delegation at the SCO Service Center.

Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the two sides would strengthen communication and exchanges, promote relevant pilot projects in logistics, trade, scientific and technological innovation, and other fields, provide enabling policies and measures, promote the free flow of production factors, efficient allocation of resources and deep integration of markets between SCODA and the SCO countries, and facilitate SCODA's efforts in building a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.

Yang Zhengwei hoped that SCODA would continue to give play to the advantages of the platform, continue to amplify the siphoning effect of people, logistics, information, and capital flow, and effectively improve investment and trade liberalization and facilitation. The Policy Research Office of the Ministry of Commerce will actively play its role, provide advisory services and other support, and promote the high-quality development and opening up of SCODA.
