SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming Visited SCODA

On November 17, Zhang Ming, SCO Secretary-General led a team to visit SCODA. Chen Bo, President of China Institute of International Studies and Director of China Shanghai Cooperation Organization Research Center; and Chen Baiwei, Deputy Director General of Shandong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and Executive Vice President of Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, joined the visit. Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee, and Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA accompanied.

During the visit, Zhang Ming said that the SCO Secretariat would, based on its responsibilities, continue to support the development of SCODA, empower SCODA to achieve greater results, and promote the high-quality economic development of SCO countries.

Zhang Xinzhu said that under the guidance of the SCO Secretariat, SCODA would emphasize its role as a public good, enhance its exemplary impact, and actively foster the growth of the "four centers" of international logistics, modern trade, bilateral investment, commerce, tourism and cultural exchange, and the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade. We will create platforms, link resources and offer solutions to speed up the construction of a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.
