SCODA Attended Qingdao-EU Economic and Trade Cooperation Dialogue by Invitation

On April 20, Qingdao-EU Economic and Trade Cooperation Dialogue was held in Qingdao. Zhao Shengcun, Vice Mayor of Qingdao, Joerg Wuttke, President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Global Vice President of BASF Group and Chief Representative of BASF China, attended the event. Zhang Dong, Member of the Party Working Committee, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA was invited to attend.

Zhao Shengcun hoped to continue to deepen cooperation with EU enterprises in the field of real economy, enhance the internationalization level of Qingdao's industrial and supply chains, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.

Wuttke hoped to continue to deepen cooperation with Qingdao in renewable energy and other areas, and promote more cooperation with small and medium enterprises.

During the dialogue, more than ten well-known European companies, including Siemens of Germany, Philips of the Netherlands, Covestro of Germany, Iraeta Energy Equipment of Spain, Getzner Materials of Austria, Safran of France, Arup Engineering Consulting of Britain, Brazzale of Italy, Schneider Electric of France, introduced their business fields and exchanged views on how to cooperate with Qingdao.

When communicating with the participants, Zhang Dong said that currently, following the requirements of Qingdao to vigorously implement the revitalization and development of the real economy, SCODA is comprehensively engaging in 24 key industrial chains, focusing on creating a market-oriented, international and law-based business environment, and providing better services and policy support for its partners from the EU.
