Liu Jianjun Meets with Azerbaijan Ambassador to China

 On September 15, Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA met with Akram Zeynalli, Azerbaijan Ambassador to China at Jiaozhou City Government.

Liu Jianjun introduces, SCODA is stepping up construction according to the goal of building a new platform for international cooperation of "Belt and Road" and forging links running eastward and westward, across land and over sea for opening up. SCO countries are welcome to make full use of this platform for extensive bilateral and multilateral economic and trade cooperation and exchanges. Liu introduces the plan to host the 2020 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo & Qingdao· International Cooperation Hub for SCO Countries in October. Liu Jianjun extends formal invitation to Ambassador Zeynalli, and asks Zeynalli to help introduce more investors and businesses to Qingdao to engage in talks about international production capacity cooperation for further opening up and development.  

  Ambassador Zeynalli speaks highly of the progress that SCODA has made and thanks Liu for his invitation to the Expo. He also invites friends from Jiaozhou to visit Azerbaijan to promote exchanges and cooperation. Zhang Hongye, Member of the Standing Committee, and Director of Office of the CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Xiang Zhiqiang, Depurty Director of SCODA Administrative Committee attended the meeting.

  Before the meeting, Ambassador Zeynalli's delegation, accompanies by Mr. Xiang Zhiqiang, visited SCODA Exhibition Hall, Qingdao· International Cooperation Hub for SCO Countries, China Transfar International Logistics Port, etc.
