Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum on Granting SCO Dialogue Partner Status to Bahrain Held at SCO Secretariat

On July 14, 2023, the signing ceremony of the memorandum on granting the Kingdom of Bahrain SCO dialogue partner status was held at the SCO Secretariat. The memorandum was signed by Zhang Ming, Secretary-General of the Organisation, and Mohammed Adnan Shaikho, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the People's Republic of China. Permanent representatives of the SCO member states to the Secretariat attended the event and witnessed the signing ceremony.
The decision to grant the Kingdom of Bahrain the status of SCO dialogue partner was adopted at the meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council on 16 September 2022 in Samarkand.
