Zhang Xinzhu Met with Guests from the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce

On March 16, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee met with Yu Zirong, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce, and An Baisheng, Deputy Director of the Institute of World Economy, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, at the SCO Service Center.

Zhang Xinzhu expressed the hope that the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce could further exert its intellectual advantages, resource advantages, and the role of policy source, explore new models and new paths of Institution-locality Cooperation, and help SCODA to build an international cooperation platform for the rules, regulations, management, and standards of economic and trade cooperation of the SCO and countries along the Belt and Road.

Yu Zirong said that the Academy will give full play to the advantages of research institutes and high-end think tanks, make precise efforts, actively build a think tank cooperation platform and carry out research on think tanks, so as to enable SCODA to play a greater role in the local economic and trade cooperation among SCO countries.

An Baisheng said the Institute will shoulder responsibilities, integrate relevant resources, and actively carry out policy innovation research, to better serve the construction of SCODA.
