Zhang Xinzhu Visited Beijing
On March 23 to 24, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee led a team to Beijing and paid a visit to Zhang Ming, SCO Secretary-General, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce and Taiji Computer Corporation Limited.
On the morning of March 23, Zhang Xinzhu exchanged ideas with Yan Qiying, Vice President of the Chinese Market Economy Research Institute and Director of the Research Center for Comprehensively Deepening Reform, Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C and Lyu Hao, Senior Vice President of Taiji Computer Corporation Limited.
Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the two sides will join hands to build a digital base, form synergy and highlight key areas to deepen cooperation, and jointly push for deeper and more solid implementation of national strategies.
Lyu Hao said that Taiji Corporation under China Electronics Technology Group focuses on digital trade, digital government, digital rural development, talent training, and other aspects, and will strengthen practical cooperation with SCODA.
On the afternoon of March 23, Zhang Xinzhu met with Wu Zhengping, Director General of the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, and hoped that the bureau will continue to support the development of SCODA. He said that SCODA will leverage the Qingdao · SCODA Pearl International Expo Center, China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade, SCO Comprehensive Service Platform, and other platforms to actively connect and strengthen cooperation with the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, so as to seek greater breakthroughs in the construction of SCODA.
Wu Zhengping said that the bureau will strengthen communication and coordination, carry out close cooperation, and help SCODA to raise its reputation and influence.
On the morning of March 24, Zhang Xinzhu met with Yu Jun, Vice Director General of the Department of European-Central Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the afternoon of March 24, Zhang Xinzhu paid a visit to the SCO Secretariat and exchanged ideas with Zhang Ming, SCO Secretary-General. Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the SCO Secretariat would give attention and support to promote cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, finance, and investment between SCODA and SCO countries, so as to enhance the level of investment and trade facilitation among SCO countries, thus promoting the high-level opening up and high-quality development of SCODA.
Zhang Ming said that the SCO Secretariat will actively provide support and assistance to activities related to SCODA and inject stronger impetus into the building of a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.
