Zhang Xinzhu Presided over the Thematic Meeting on the Construction of China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade

On April 7, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA presided over the Thematic Meeting on the Construction of China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade at the SCO Service Center. Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee of and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the officials heard a report on the progress of the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade and made arrangements for future work.

Zhang Xinzhu pointed out that the construction of the 2.0 campus of the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade is progressing steadily. All relevant institutions and departments should further raise their political stance, strengthen coordination, plan from a high starting point and meet high standards to push forward the construction and operation of the 2.0 campus of the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade.

Zhang Xinzhu stressed that the construction of the project should be steadily promoted by adhering to the timeline under the premise of ensuring production safety, and firmly establishing the quality awareness to ensure the quality and quantity of the project and the delivery on time. It is necessary to plan the operation in a scientific way, actively carry out education and training with rich SCO elements and distinctive economic and trade features, highlight the characteristics of internationalization, market orientation and innovation in running the institute, and build an open platform for international education cooperation.
