On November 15, the Delivery Ceremony of Qingdao·SCODA Pearl International Expo Center was held at the project headquarters, marking the official handing-over of the project. Li Gang, Vice Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, and Deputy Chief General of the Project Construction Headquarters, attended the ceremony. And Chen Yong, Inspector at Level 1 of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Executive Chief General of the Project Construction Headquarters, presided over the ceremony.
Li Gang pointed out that since the beginning of the project, the whole construction team has worked strenuously and promptly, overcome various challenges such as the pandemic and extreme weather, coordinated the progress of the project, production safety, engineering quality and other links, and eventually completed the construction with high quality, high level and efficiency. In the future, all relevant institutions should continue to coordinate and do a good job in project quality improvement, operation management and other work, and implement the instructions of the 20th CPC National Congress with practical actions.
Li Gang emphasized that the project operator should play its due role in the next phase, adhere to the market-oriented operation direction, establish and improve the management system and mechanism, improve the level of property management, and promote the operation and management with high standards. And the project owner should observe high standards, continue to shoulder responsibility, and review and summarize the work regularly. The contractor should complete the construction well, strictly control the quality, further improve the details, rectify and improve in a thorough and meticulous manner. In this way, we will jointly build the Qingdao·SCODA Pearl International Expo Center into a platform for enterprises to deepen economic and trade cooperation with SCO countries and a window for people to learn about the customs of SCO countries.
