Meng Qingsheng Met with Yan Gang, General Manager of China-Belarus Industrial Park

On November 4, Meng Qingsheng, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA met with Yan Gang, General Manager of China-Belarus Industrial Park at the SCO Service Center.

Meng expressed welcome to Yan Gang and his delegation and gave Yan a detailed introduction to the SCODA. Meng said, with the strategic goal of building a new Belt and Road international cooperation platform, the SCODA is expanding economic and trade cooperation and external liaison to enlarge its international circle of friends. It focuses on the introduction of large-scale high-tech projects of the SCO and the Belt and Road countries and aims to add more SCO features and elements in the overall planning and policy innovation under the framework of the masterplan of the area. Meng hoped that the two sides will strengthen communication and enrich, expand and deepen cooperation for win-win development. 

Yan Gang said that China-Belarus Industrial Park is envisioned as the gem on the Silk Road Economic Belt and the paragon of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. The SCODA, with a good location and a clearly-defined industrial orientation, enjoys a promising prospect. The SCODA and China-Belarus Industrial Park share a lot in common in development planning. It is hoped that the two sides will enhance interactions in modern park construction, international logistics and exchange of personnel, so as to join hands in building a new Belt and Road international cooperation platform.

Yan Gang visited the SCODA Planning Exhibition Hall and Transfar (SCO) International Logistics Port after the meeting.
