Liu Jianjun Met with Wang Hong, Party Secretary and President of Qingdao Tourism Group

On October 23, Wang Hong, Party Secretary and President of Qingdao Tourism Group inspected the SCODA. Liu Jianjun, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of CPC Jiaozhou Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director General of the Administrative Committee of SCODA met with Wang Hong at the SCO Service Center.

Liu Jianjun welcomed Wang Hong and her delegation and briefed her on the SCODA. Liu said, the SCODA is the only platform in China that specializes in international economic and trade cooperation with the SCO and countries of the Belt and Road Initiative. At present, following the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, the SCODA, seizing the opportunity, is building a new Belt and Road international cooperation platform through the construction of five centers, namely, international logistics center, modern trade center, two-way investment cooperation center, business travel and cultural exchange development center, and marine cooperation center.

Liu said, the business leaders at the meeting are farsighted and innovative. He hoped companies can leverage their respective strengths and cooperate with the SCODA in the economy, culture, tourism and other areas, and pursue win-win development while serving the national strategy.

Meng Qingsheng, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the SCODA was present at the meeting.

Accompanied by Meng Qingsheng, Wang Hong visited the SCODA Exhibition Hall and the Pakistan-China Center.

The SCODA, Qingdao International Exchange Center, Pakistan Service Center for Chinese Companies, Pakistan-China Center signed cooperation agreements respectively on the China-Pakistan Center construction and the SCO business travel and culture projects.
