The Sub-forum on International Agricultural Cooperation of the China-Central Asia Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum Held
On February 17, the Sub-forum on International Agricultural Cooperation of the China-Central Asia Industrial and Investment Cooperation Forum was held at the Qingdao International Conference Center.
Li Hongtao, Deputy Director of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Zhao Yan, Vice Mayor of Qingdao Municipal People's Government, Li Gang, Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, Chekibayev Ulan Kadrovich, Director General of Ecology and Agriculture Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, Fezimahad Amonov, Director General of International Relations Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan, Bekboyev Daniel, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in China, and Sami Parvis, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Tajikistan in China attended the event. Hu Bo, Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Shandong Province, and Gao Yan, Vice Mayor of Jiaozhou, presided over the sub-forum.
Li Gang said in his speech that SCODA will take this forum as an opportunity to align with the market demand for international agricultural cooperation, actively expand new channels for agricultural cooperation, explore new models of international agricultural cooperation, and promote high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Daniel Bekeboyev said in his speech that Kyrgyzstan stands ready to deepen cooperation with China in planting, breeding, agricultural products processing, biological fertilizer, and industrial park construction, and promote more green agricultural products of Kyrgyzstan to the Chinese market.
Fezimahad Amonov said in his speech that the Ministry of Agriculture of Tajikistan hopes to further expand the mutual recognition of import and export standards of agricultural products and promote the development of China-Tajikistan agricultural cooperation to a higher level.
Li Hongtao said in his speech that we would like to join hands with Central Asian friends to strengthen dialogue and coordination, strengthen economic and trade cooperation, enhance innovation cooperation, and take concrete actions to promote high-quality development of agricultural cooperation.
Zhao Yan said in her speech that in the future, Qingdao will provide strong support and all-round services for agricultural cooperation and exchanges between China and the five Central Asian countries in terms of agricultural trade, circulation, trading, and investment, so as to achieve mutual benefit and common development with all parties at a higher level.
