On April 27, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA met with He Guoqing, Member of Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director General of Department of Commerce of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and his delegation at the SCO Service Center.

Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the two sides could further strengthen the information exchange mechanism, build a platform for innovative development, give full play to the role of the Xinjiang branch of SCODA, further integrate the resource advantages of both sides, efficiently connect "Xinjiang's demands" and "Shandong's capability", expand all-round cooperation in the economic and trade field, promote the division of labor and coordination in industrial and supply chains, and jointly build a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.

He Guoqing said the Department of Commerce of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region would take the initiative to serve the national strategy, strengthen Qingdao-Xinjiang "dual hub" strategic cooperation, give full play to Xinjiang's geographical advantages as the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the advantages of SCODA as a new platform for international cooperation, and build an open regional community of collaborative innovation and development.
