Harmony and Happiness, Voice of Youth - GYLD China Tours at SCODA

    From July 30 to 31, the first stop of 2022 GYLD China Tours came to Qingdao. The event themed on "SCO Economic and Trade Cooperation and Sustainable Development" was co-organized by the Administrative Committee of SCODA and the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies. Focusing on the SCO economic and trade cooperation and the sustainable development of youth, more than a dozen young leaders from ten countries visited SCODA to learn about the SCO's innovative international cooperation model of openness, cooperation and connectivity, and to experience Qingdao's achievements and experience in the construction of the New Eurasian Land Bridge Economic Corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative.

    Hao Guoxin, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of SCODA, said that SCODA sincerely welcomes young people from various countries to visit SCODA and experience the entrepreneurial enthusiasm and vitality of SCODA. Meanwhile, we welcome young people from all over the world to contribute their suggestions to the development and construction of SCODA in light of their own development needs and work experience, so as to deepen and strengthen exchanges among SCO countries in various fields.

    Many young foreign nationals hoped to contribute their wisdom and strength to the building of an even closer and interconnected community of shared future and to the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

    GYLD China Tours is an institutionalized exchange activity under the framework of the "Global Young Leaders Dialogue" program, aiming to deepen understanding of China, enhance friendship with each other and promote common growth by inviting global young leaders to visit different parts of China.
