Launching Ceremony of Travelogue of China International Media Communication Activity Held at SCODA

On May 22, the Launching Ceremony of Travelogue of China International Media Communication Activity was held at Qingdao · SCODA Pearl International Expo Center. Wu Hailong, President of the China Public Diplomacy Association, Chen Renze, Deputy Director General of the Cyber Communication Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of SCODA attended the event. Nearly 30 journalists from foreign media of 18 countries including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as journalists from domestic media such as People's Daily Online and Xinhua News Agency, attended the launching ceremony.

Zhang Xinzhu said in his speech that the China International Media Communication Activity will strongly promote the communication and cooperation between domestic and overseas media, enhance international communication capabilities, and let the world better understand China, Shandong, Qingdao, and SCODA. He hoped that all media friends could walk around and explore, and tell the Qingdao story well with an open vision, unique perspective and innovative expression, and communicate the SCO voice.

In his speech, Wu Hailong hoped that all media journalists will take advantage of the opportunity of the "Travelogue of China" activity to present a comprehensive, three-dimensional, objective and vivid China to the people of various countries through what they have seen, heard and felt.

In his speech, Chen Renze hoped that all the media journalists would play the role as a bridge, take an in-depth, pragmatic, and heart-felt perspective through Travelogue of China, to observe, record and interpret China, and draw "concentric circles" together for closer bonds and friendship.

Shan Chengbiao, General Manager of Huanqiu.com, said in his speech that we will take Qingdao as a window to issue the invitation of the "Travelogue of China" to the world, demonstrating the charm of wonderful, historical, and modern aspects of China.

Officials and representatives of foreign friends attending the event jointly launched the "Travelogue of China" activity.
