From October 17 to 18, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of SCODA led a team to visit Guangzhou.

On October 17, Zhang Xinzhu and his team visited the Planning Exhibition Hall of Nansha New Area and the Comprehensive Service Base for Chinese Enterprises Going Global. Zhang Xinzhu pointed out that the two sides should strengthen collaboration, achieve complementary advantages, form synergy, and work together to serve China's opening up. Both sides should promote the connection between platforms, solve the pain points and difficulties of enterprises, help enterprises reduce costs, improve efficiency, and explore the markets of SCO countries.

On the same day, Zhang Xinzhu and his team also visited Guangzhou WeRide Technology Limited Company and met with Luo Lin, Vice President of WeRide. Later, Zhang Xinzhu and his team visited Tencent WeChat headquarters and met with Wang Qian, Vice President of Tencent Cloud.

Zhang Xinzhu hoped that Tencent and WeRide could leverage SCODA well, seek strategic layout in SCODA, further explore the market of SCO countries, provide a portfolio of solutions for the digital development of SCO countries, and grow and expand their businesses in implementing the national strategy.

Luo Lin said that WeRide would speed up the progress of cooperation projects between the two sides, and strive to build the first whole-city automatic driving demonstration zone with multi-scenario applications, so as to achieve mutual benefits and common growth of the enterprise and SCODA.

Wang Qian said that Tencent would actively respond to the national strategy, give play to its corporate advantages, and play a greater role in the construction of SCODA.

On October 18, Zhang Xinzhu and his team visited the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Development Planning Exhibition Hall, China Singapore International Joint Research Institute, and the Greater Bay Area National Center of Technology Innovation among other places. Zhang Xinzhu pointed out that SCODA should strengthen communication and close cooperation with platform institutions such as China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, China Singapore International Joint Research Institute, and Greater Bay Area National Center of Technology Innovation, jointly explore rules, regulations, management, standards and other institutional opening up, produce more replicable experience and practices, and strive to promote the opening up through links running eastward and westward, across land and over sea, to contribute to the building of an SCO community of a shared future.
