Zhang Xinzhu Led a Team to Visit Macao
From October 19 to 20, Zhang Xinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of SCODA, led a team to visit Macao.
On October 19, Zhang Xinzhu and his team visited Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited and met with Jiang Weiliang, the company's Director and President. Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the two sides would deepen exchanges, cooperate closely in logistics and transportation, international trade, commerce, tourism, and culture, and jointly build a new platform for Belt and Road international cooperation.
Jiang Weiliang said that the group would actively participate in the construction of SCODA, promote the implementation of relevant projects, strengthen economic and trade exchanges with SCO countries and countries engaging in building the Belt and Road, expand cooperation areas such as modern finance, exhibition, and trade, and achieve win-win results.
On October 20, Zhang Xinzhu and his team visited Chongwa (Macao) Financial Asset Exchange Co., Ltd. and met with Zhang Weichun, Chairman of the Executive Committee and President of the company. Zhang Xinzhu hoped that the two sides would innovate cooperation mechanisms, expand cooperation areas, strengthen cooperation in financing channels, financial infrastructure construction, and other aspects, and provide more high-quality and efficient financial services for enterprises to expand businesses in the international market.
Zhang Weichun said that the company would leverage the platform of SCODA, to carry out financial exchanges and cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and countries engaging in building the Belt and Road, and help SCODA to upgrade the level of financial services.
On the same day, Zhang Xinzhu and his team also visited the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao S.A.R. and The Macao Federal Commercial Association of Wine and Food Industries in Portuguese-Speaking Countries and Regions, and met with Liu Decheng, Director of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao S.A.R., and Sunny Ip Sio Man, President of The Macao Federal Commercial Association of Wine and Food Industries in Portuguese-Speaking Countries and Regions.
Zhang Xinzhu hoped to further enhance the collaboration with the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao S.A.R. and The Macao Federal Commercial Association of Wine and Food Industries in Portuguese-Speaking Countries and Regions, enrich and expand the scope of cooperation, deepen practical cooperation in modern trade, people-to-people exchanges and other fields, and continuously enhance the visibility and influence of SCODA in Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries to promote mutually beneficial and win-win development.
Liu Decheng said that the department would further integrate high-quality resources and play the role of a bridge to bring the trade and investment cooperation between SCODA, Macao, and Portuguese-speaking countries to a deeper level and broader field.
Sunny Ip Sio Man said that the association would join hands with SCODA, an international public and open platform, to open up trade channels and consumer markets for wine, food, and other commodities in Portuguese-speaking countries, the SCO and countries engaging in building the Belt and Road, thus facilitating international multilateral and bilateral economic and trade exchanges.
